1 Thought:
Have you ever had someone in your life that you made plans with multiple times and they consistently backed out last minute or no-showed on you?
Ever had a teammate at work who had a role to play in a project you were both responsible for and time and time again you ended up doing 99% of the work?
As a manager do you have someone on your team who consistently fails to deliver?
Assuming you can say yes to most of the above and I’ll also assume that eventually you stopped counting on the friend who always bails on you, stopped expecting that teammate to actually carry their weight, and moved on from that employee for always letting you and the company down.
Those type people are the absolute worst, right?
Sooooooo……..
You ever made yourself a commitment to maybe start running 3-4 times a week and hit the snooze?
You ever committed to yourself that this was the year you take your health and diet seriously and lasted through the end of January then gave up?
You ever committed to make the big leap and grow your business but got scared and didn’t pull the trigger?
Point I’m making is we don’t want to be someone we can’t count on. We should be someone we can always count on.
Don’t devalue yourself, which is what you are exactly doing, by not prioritizing the things, and events, and the future you told yourself was important.

“Rely on yourself, and be true to who you are. What’s unique about you is what will take you far. Don’t look to others to say you’re okay. You know it–so believe it!—show your own self the way.”

1 Question:
Any promises you’ve broken to yourself lately that you want to revisit?
Never too late!
